Before clay became an extension of it, the body was my medium. Though it is still revealing how the two practices might one day weave together, they are, for me, one conversation.
BODY x EARTH is an ongoing eco-somatic art project feeling and making visible our embodied relationship with the more-than-human world. The works emerge during improvised practice— spontaneous conversations between body and place, unfolding as silent, transient rituals.
At the intersection of environmental concern, contemplative practice, and artistic research, BODY × EARTH questions our ecological identity and invites a felt sense of the body as nature, and nature as body.
